Don’t be surprised if the pipes last longer than the building
We don’t mess around ”sealing old pipes”. We build completely new pipes inside the old ones. For this you need a material that can be trusted well into the future. For this reason in our own Proline-method®, we use a vitreous, styrene-free polyester plastic which is extremely durable and, of course, waterproof. The material has undergone extensive testing by the SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden and Sintef with excellent results. If you still have doubts, it can be reassuring to know that the material is used, among other things, as an anti-corrosive agent on oil platforms in the North Sea and as a deck coating on auto ferries in Northern Norway in order to protect against the cars’ studded tires. Even compared to other relining methods (which is what you call maintaining old pipes without tearing them out), we at Proline are convinced that our methods and our materials are superior. We devote ourselves to comprehensive technological surveillance and development work in order to always have access to the best possible technology.
But quality is not just about the materials. We complete comprehensive checks on all the details, from the first inspection to the final documentation.
