One of norway’s largest condominium associations chose proline
In 2006, Proline was entrusted with relining pipes and lines that serve more than 900 apartments in the Ringvegen Borettslag just south of Trondheim. The contract is Proline’s largest to date. In Norway, they are dealing with precisely the same problems with aging and leaking runoff and drainage pipes that we have in Sweden. And the interest is just as great. The job in Trondheim gives Proline a stable foothold in the Norwegian market. The job in Trondheim started during late fall of 2006 and continues for a three-year period.
Ringvegen Borettslag is in a beautiful area, south of Trondheim, close to green and natural areas with for example a WM stadium for cross-country skiing and close to all thinkable amenities for the tenants. The condominium association has its own operations office and nine employees.
“For many years we have had problems with leaking runoff pipes,” says Birger Knudsen who is daily operations manager for Ringvegen Borettslag. ”Since the pipes are embedded in concrete, acute repairs have to this point meant great hardship for our apartment owners. I really want to thank them for their patience. Now things will be better. With Proline’s technique, we have great expectations for our new pipes!”
“Thanks to the fact that we are technologically advanced, we can also manage this kind of split plastic pipes that they have at Ringvegen,” says Sten Edström, Proline’s founder.
